Specialization & Education

Dr. Conner has extensive experience helping individuals discover their strengths, reach their goals, and achieve balanced mental health. She thrives in guiding those who honor her with their trust as they incorporate new behaviors to obtain more of what they want in life and less of what they do not want. Dr. Conner earned a Master’s in Counseling, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and completed internship and residency at the Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy in NYC. Her theoretical orientation centers around Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, DBT, and Solution Focused therapies. A large portion of Dr. Conner’s clinical work has been in working with individual adults, adolescents, and parents of adolescents. She specializes in counseling clients in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, parenting and family issues, work, school, and other life stressors.




Career

Along with her private practice Dr. Conner serves as the Personal Counselor for Highland Park High School, and as a member of the advisory committees for Park Cities HOPE, CARE Dallas, and the Elisa Project. Dr. Conner also speaks to groups about mental health issues and has spoken in the past to various Highland Park ISD parent groups, the Dallas Bar Association, the Junior League of Dallas, and attendees at world and National conferences.
